Iron Maiden Masks Finished 2 - Gateway Playhouse_edited_edited.jpg

On the Flip Side...

Plot twist! As I mentioned earlier, I work as a technician with a focus on props and scenic artistry. I also have experience as a dresser, follow spot, and assistant stage manager. Below I've highlighted some of my recent work; if you'd like to see more, check out my portfolio

Breakable Guitar - Waitress

The guitar featured is a special build, designed to break on stage every show and be repaired in time for the next. Included are highlights of my build process and a demonstration of how it works!

Pie Builds - Waitress

Alongside doing touch up work on rental package pies for the run of Waitress, I made additional pies for specific moments throughout the show. Highlighted are the build processes for the Jumping Without a Net Pie, Mermaid Marshmallow Pie, and White Knuckle Cream Pie slices.

Iron Maiden - Gateway's Haunted Playhouse

A generous patron of Gateway's Haunted Playhouse donated a coffin to be used for decoration; attached you'll see the progress of turning that donation into our very own Iron Maiden.

Horse Puppet - Fiddler on the Roof

For A.C.T. of Connecticut's production of Fiddler on the Roof, our nightmare sequence required 12 animal puppets on sticks. This process required the work of several local artists; my role primarily being in adding paper mache layers, paint treatment, and carved teeth for each chicken wire puppet. Highlighted here is my work process on the horse puppet!
